Ceiling Mount Units

The AeroMed AM-800C is a low profile air purifier that is designed to fit a 2’ x 4’ ceiling grid. It removes airborne icrocontaminants and can be used for exhaust or recirculation filtration. The unit combines a MERV 8 pre-filter and 99.99% HEPA filter to provide optimal air purification.

The AeroMed 800C is an excellent choice for areas where controlling airborne pathogens may be a concern. Typical applications include isolation and exam rooms, waiting areas and procedure rooms. Once air is passed through the HEPA filter, it may be exhausted to create negative pressure or recirculated back to the room.

The AeroMed 800C comes as two separate components in order to facilitate easy installation by one person. The lightweight filter housing is simply laid in the ceiling grid and then attached to the support system once the filter section is secured, the eavier fan section is placed on top of the filter section, sealed and secured.

Service access: The AeroMed 800C’s easy to open service door provides room side access to the pre and HEPA filter section when the need for replacement arises. The access door is held securely in place by recessed door latches that do not detract from the unit’s aesthetics. A retainer clip on the filter access door prevents the pre-filter from falling out of the unit when the door is opened. A unique HEPA clamping device allows for one person to easily and safely change the HEPA filter.

Ducting: The AeroMed 800C comes standard with four exhaust ports. The user may choose to utilize any number of these ports allowing for multiple configurations such as:

  • Exhaust only
  • Recirculation and exhaust
  • Recirculation to multiple points in one room

Speed Control: The AeroMed800C has a wide variety of speed control options including either remote or on board variations of the following:

  • AeroStat™ automated variable remote, controlled by room pressure monitor
  • Variable rheostat control
  • Automated two speed operation controlled by remote monitor
  • 2 or 3 position key switch speed selection

Filter Pressure: The AeroMed 800C may be provided with an optional remote control panel which in addition to housing the speed control options will also house a filter pressure gauge.

This unit is an excellent choice for any area where controlling airborne particulate and gaseous contaminants may be a concern, such as waiting areas, isolation rooms, laboratories and procedure rooms.

The unit is typically used in-line with the air duct, cleaning either the air leaving or entering a space. The 725D may be used to create negative or positive pressure within a space or may be used to recirculate air within a space.

Quiet Operation: The AeroMed 725D uses two forward curved centrifugal blowers which provide 700CFM of HEPA filtered air at a very quiet 55dBA.

Easy Service:The AeroMed™ 725D’s simple to remove service doors provide access to the filter and UV sections. The quick release HEPA sealing mechanism allows for easy filter changing.

Sealed Operation:The doors and filters in the 725D are properly sealed to prevent air bypass. This helps ensure that all air is treated by being passed through the filters prior to recirculation back to the room. A retaining clip prevents filters from inadvertently falling out of the equipment during the filter changing process.

Purification Options:The AeroMed 725D is one of the most versatile air purifiers on the market today. The intermediate filter may be replaced by carbon or activated alumina media for odor control or with various MERV rated particulate filters. The HEPA filter may also be replaced by these options or with a n ULPA filter. Germicidal UV lamps are also an upgrade option.

Portable Units

The AeroMed 700P is a portable air purifier designed to remove airborne micro contaminants while standing up to the rigors of daily use in healthcare facilities.

Portable HEPA air purification systems are recommended by the CDC for use in applications requiring additional air changes of purified air or for the creation of negative pressure within a space.

One of the most versatile air purifiers available, the AeroMed portable may be configured for either recirculation or exhaust applications. The filter configuration may be adapted for the removal of airborne particulates (such as bacterial pathogens) using HEPA filtration. The unit may be configured to remove odors from patient care processes such as certain chemo therapies. A combination of the two technologies may also be used.

Lower Cost of Operation:The AeroMed 700P uses three stages of air filtration. According to the CDC, the use of a 90% efficient filter (like that used in the 700P) may extend the life of the HEPA filter by as much as 900%.

Secure:The air delivery from the AeroMed 700P is controlled by a two speed key switch. The key may beremoved in any position allowing staff to easily determine the speed of the unit while preventing tampering by unauthorized personnel.

Easy to Service: The simple to remove service door of the 700P provides quick and easy access to the HEPA and other filters as well as to the UV lamp and blowers.

Easy HEPA Certification:The 700P has a certification chamber which provides downstream access to the HEPA filter while the unit is running. This allows the HEPA filter to be tested in place in order to comply with CDC recommendations.

Sealed Cabinet:The 700P access doors are sealed with a bulb gasket to prevent bypass, ensuring that all air drawn through the unit is forced to pass through the air filters.
